Roman Fountians

There are many beautiful structures in Rome.  Many of them are the buildings themselves while others are the intricate stonework surrounding what would appear to be their love of water.  The above pictures show two very beautiful creations one done by Bernini and the other by Salvi who would not see the completion of the fountain due to his death.

The Bernini fountain is called the Four Rivers and is a depiction of the great rivers on each known continents.  While the Trevi Fountain is famous for its legend of if you throw a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand into the water you are said to return to Rome.  I, of course, did not want to take the chance that it did hold some magical powers, so I through a coin into the fountain with the hopes of one day returning to the beautiful city of Rome.
